Checkout error

I am seeing the following error (show in the picture - user ids blanked out) several times the past couple of days. Any ideas as to what the problem is? I noticed it appears to be related to people that are using paypal (not everyone that uses paypal gets the message).

I can't tell you "why", but I can tell you "what" it is. PayPal is trying to post back to your site with the completed transaction information for an order. It's something called IPN (Instant Payment Notification).

Whatever the reason I'm not sure, but the IPN postback to your site from PayPal is coming in blank to AC7. This used to happen way-back-when in the early days of AC7 and would result in new orders with a zero dollar total. Nowadays Able has additional error checking and prevents the (useless) zero-dollar order from being generated.

But the bigger question is the "why". Back in the day, PayPal's system would mess up and resubmit the same empty transaction several times even though the AC7 site had already received and accepted the actual transaction info. It was a weird glitch at PayPals end that would happen from time-to-time.
