Using multiple coupons at checkout

Post by TyMorris » Tue Nov 24, 2009 12:25 pm

Hi,

I wanted the ability to use two coupons during the checkout process. As of right now, once a coupon code is entered, the text box disappears and a text message saying "Coupon Code accepted" shows up. So there's no way to add an additional coupon code. I searched around the forums and didnt see anything. Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions??

Basically I would like the ability for a customer to get a fixed amount discount on say, a jacket, and then also have a coupon code for a buy one get one free on another item or something along those lines.

Thanks all!

What build are you using? Have you customized it? The last time I checked, you could add more than one coupon in the default setup.

Hi,

I am on 7.0.2 build 11659.

We haven't done anything customized as far as coupons are concerned. Do you know where in the default setup you can add more than one coupon??

It is in the coupon box on the checkout page. I just tried it again. Did you set the coupons to "Allow combine" in the admin? If not, that might be why your coupon input box is disappearing.

Hi,

I have selected the "allow combine" box when editing the coupon, but at checkout the text box disappears whenever i enter the first code in. Anyone else experience this?

Hello,

I just tested the one page checkout and the coupon box doesn't vanish after the first coupon is entered. Perhaps you're seeing this on the ship to multiple addresses checkout pages?
Thanks for your support
