Hi folks,
I work at an online ticket seller and we need solid advice about upgrading. We currently have AC5.5 with VB.NET on MySQL and it is fairly customized. Here are my questions/obstacles - your input is valued:
1. We are not up to speed on C#. Should we throw in the towel now or is AC7 so modular we won't need to mess with it much until we can get up to speed?
2. We sell tour tickets and must be able to block out certain future dates. Now we do it with a modified category.aspx page that uses a calendar to read from an aux database those closed dates for the given tour and not allow them during purchase. Is that something [easy | doable | impossible | extremely painful] in AC7 - especially considering our non-C# background?
Any help at all is appreciated, we want to make a decision this week if possible and I don't have these answers now.

Hello Jim,
I'd suggest downloading our evaluation and take a look at the files contained in the /Conlib directory to see if you'd feel comfortable with them. Sounds to me that your more technical that others that have made the switch. But a good look at the files, will tell you either way.
