Negative Shipping Handling Fees

Hi all,

It doesn't seem possible to use a negative number for a Shipping Method handling fee like -25 or (25) for percent. Has anyone gotten this to work? We are version 7.3.

This is a bandaid for us. The real solution is to obtain our UPS Negotiated Rates and mark them up by a percentage. That one seems hard to pull off given the amount of inconclusive discussion I've seen here on the forums.

The fundamental problem we're facing is that with a 50% discount from UPS, we're charging customers $50 for a Next Day order that only costs us $25. We'd like to charge around $30 or so consistently in this example.

Can anyone share how they've dealt with this?

There is a way to get your Negotiated rates.
Only warning is if your package size effects shipping costs on lighter or larger packages going air.
