Are there any 3rd party tax providers currently available for integration?

THanks

Interesting, the Internet Retailer August 2010 headline is "Tax Attack!". Was reading the article and it was focused on how the Streamlines Sales Tax Initiative is closer than ever to getting congressional approval for their sales tax reporting and collection program. A snippet from the article:

"One of the certified software providers, The Federal Tax Authority, a private company also known as FedTax.net, launched last month its TaxCloud software-as-a-service application that it plans to offer SST-participating merchants for no charge."

The article goes on to talk about FedTax earning revenue by taking a percentage of the collected revenues, so it should remain a free service. The article also mentions that merchant members of the SST that use certified software will not get audited for sales tax policies.

Seems like a good opportunity for AbleCommerce to work with FedTax in offering another solution for merchants facing pressure from government to collect sales tax.

We've integrated Avalara. TaxCloud contacted us to discuss integration, to which I responded but did not hear further. Thank you for the reminder... I will follow up.
Cheers,
Logan
