Blog Plugin Suggestion

Hello,

My employer asked me to integrate a blog into our site. So far, I found blogengine.net but not sure how it stacks up with other blogs in terms of SEO. I prefer Wordpress but not sure how to make PHP work with ASP.Net. Is it even worth the trouble? Has anyone had success with 1) integration of any blog plugin for AC and 2) which one works best for SEO? Thank you!

It depends on what integration of the blog means for your site. If it just means a blog on sub-domain or sub-url of your store then you can use either wordpress or any other blog program you like. For example your store may be http://www.mystore.com and your blog may be blog.mystore.com. If the integration means more than that i.e; having two applications talk to each other, then consider using a blog system written in .NET. BlogEngine.NET is a good idea.
