AC 7.0.3 Accepting 12-digit credit card numbers

AC 7.0.3 Accepting 12-digit credit card numbers

I've been seeing a few orders coming through the system that only contain 12-digits? How is this possible? We don't process cards on the server so we're using the AbleCommerce Test Gateway.
