A while back, people had concerns about the accuracy of the Inventory Stock Levels. My client is experiencing the same problem, and I'd like to know the status of its accuracy these days. I recently tried to demonstrate it for them. We purchased a quantity of two, but one of the kit child item's stock decremented only by one. Frustratingly, I haven't been able to duplicate the problem since.
They really need to use the feature, but cannot trust the number, and I feel completely helpless to support them. I *could* write a custom audit report based on a custom log that I manually program to populate whenever there's a purchase, or a return, or a qty update, but I REALLY don't want to do that, for obvious reasons.
They're running 7.0.4, and I'm just about to publish their upgrade to 7.0.6, once I finish testing. Both versions seem to have the problem.

I have constant issues as well and have been asking for a audit system for years because of it.
