Coupons By Category

Can anyone tell me if AbleCommerce supports coupons by category? I have a category for sale products, and I don't want coupons to work on anything in that category. We continually remove and insert products into that category and updating hundreds of coupons each time with the new products is unmaintanable. I only see that if I want to use coupons that my only options are all products, or specific products, which means putting hundreds of products on hundreds of coupons each time, which it not a very good implementation of couponing in my opinion. If there is nothing like this I'm going to have to recode the entire coupon system, which I'd really rather not do.

I'm working on a customization to apply coupons to categories. You can contact Web2Market if you are interested.When I get done, I will package it into a plugin, but I don't know what it will cost.
