Abandoned Basket Report Gives timeout error

Hi,
I'm unable to run the abandoned baskets report - I just get "server timeout error" It works every once in awhile, seems to be no rhyme or reason but I've been unable to see one for at least a week now. Any suggestions?
I'm on able ver. VERSION: 7.0.5.14053

Mainly that post simply reiterates the problem but does not really suggest a solution. Is the file too large?
Is there some maintenance that should be done?

I'm getting a error when trying to send a abandoned basket. I don't think it is related to the error above because I can open the monthly and daily abandoned basket pages but when I try and SEND ALERT it brings up this message. "We are sorry, but the page you are trying to access has experienced an error. Please contact Sales@DccCrafts.com to report this problem." It was working just fine a minute ago and we have had this problem before. It is like there is a threshold of how many times you can send alerts. Anybody have any idea?

We are having the same issue in several sites.

Is there a bug for it and is this going to be fixed in one of the next releases?

This issue renders the functionality useless for busy sites and several of our publishers really want to be able to use it. They are not exactly happy for not getting what they were promised in the demo.

We are experiencing this issue also. We used to just delete the anonymous users and it would load, but that isn't working.
