Re: Mobile Theme Editing
Hi Scott,
All the themes have a mobile.css file.
Firefox has some great development tools. I have Firebug installed, and you can inspect the elements of any text on the page. It will show you where the style is coming from, which makes it super easy to begin customizing.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... src=search
Hope this helps.

Re: Mobile Theme Editing
Yea, that will probably help. I will look at it later, but why is it not in the Theme Mamager in the Administration? It would be much easier.
The one thing I am concerned about is that I checked it for mobile compatability at http://ready.mobi/launch.jsp It seems that there is a problem with the facebook like button, among other things.

Re: Mobile Theme Editing
Can you be more specific? The free report provides an in-depth analysis of pages...so can we see this report?

Re: Mobile Theme Editing
There isn't an "e-mail report" feature, but you can simply try it your self. I used my demo store URL: http://demo.ablecommerce.com/7080703100458/mobile/

Re: Mobile Theme Editing
It's hard for me to understand the results of this report. It complains of frames, yet I don't see where frames are being used. We've tested the pages using a mobile emulator and found no obvious issues. However, I will bring this up with the developers and see if we can make sense of the errors this site is reporting.
Thanks,
Katie

Re: Mobile Theme Editing
We've looked at this issue and found that the main cause is in the Social Media control. IFrame is being rendered due to facebook like widget, which is code provided by Facebook. We haven't found a way to fix it though...one alternative is to remove the social buttons from mobile store but that is really up to each individual merchant. These buttons do take time to load plus they emit javascript which can slowdown the website for mobile. Have a look at this article http://zurb.com/article/883/small-painf ... l-media-bu
We did make a change to correct the encoding to utf-8 which resolved one failing case. The remaining issues are about the ajax scripts generated by ASP.NET and page size. We will do what we can in R6 to have this fixed.
Hope this helps,
Katie

Re: Mobile Theme Editing
Getting back to that theme help: http://help.ablecommerce.com/mergedProj ... anager.htm
The problem is, the mobile theme is NOT accessible via Theme Manager. It is not even in the App_Themes folder.

Re: Mobile Theme Editing
The mobile store is not a theme. It is an entirely new set of files located in the \Website\Mobile\ folder.

Re: Mobile Theme Editing
I found it, but after I looked at the link you posted about theme editing. I came to realize that the mobile site probobly needs to be in a seperate folder.
At any rate, there is no easy way to edit it. I had to hard code Google analytics and change the title from "Able Commerce...." to my own on the default page.
Why is it the category and product pages use the approproate title, but the home page doesn't?
