Multiple users under same account

We have a customer with several branch locations. For sales purposes we have it set up as one customer with several ship to locations.

1. First, is it possible to have multiple email logins such that they all access the same company info, but when they confirm the order the email will go to their own personal email address? I'm guessing it's not possible but wanted to ask anyways.
2. If that's not possible, is it possible to have a separate email associated with each ship to location such that they could all share one login, but at least the order confirmation email would go their own personal email?

I'm not sure if this is what you need, but you can setup a user account with a single username/password and (primary) email address. When the user logs in and places the order, they can change the email address on the billing page during checkout. This change only affects the order being placed, so order confirmation emails will go to the order email address. We don't really encourage sharing of accounts, but it might be one way to do what you want. Otherwise, you would probably need some type of customization.

Ok thanks. Yes I know I dont like the idea of sharing accounts either. I probably will split each branch as its own customer. Its just that it causes extra work when receiving payments (have to receive each individual branches portion separately). And we have to then do some extra work to combine the data back together when looking at sales reports. It all depends on if my customers complain or not about sharing an account =)

I could have it customized so that I could associate an email address with each Ship-To address, and then load that email as the default order email address.

What about having multiple purchasing agents from the same company? We would like them to have their own logins, but once they login they all see the same order history, etc. I guess there could be conflicting shopping carts in case they are trying to order at the same time. Can anyone recommend a company that might be able to look into this customization request and quote it to us?

Each address in AC has an email field. You can easily have a different email stored for different ship-to addresses. You will need to customize the the part of code the initiates the emails. Based on your criteria you will determine which email address the mail is sent to and then populate the email template with appropriate email address.
