Alt Tag for Categorygridpage4 not working

Hello to all and thanks in advance for helping.
I am puzzled as to why G6 would have an Alt Text input line listed in "edit category" but no matter what I try will not render an alt tag reference on the thumbnail. Bing is claiming that it wants to see my alt tag and cannot. Neither can I. I know in 7.0.7 it was referenced in the conlib but I do not see anything in the G6 conlib that points to alt tag. Any ideas or direction would be greatly appreciated.

I just confirmed alt text for CategoryGrid4 does appear for me on both GoldR7 and GoldR6. Not sure if missed something. In order to test I changed display page of root category and then provided thumbnail and alt information for child categories. It does seems to be listing category thumbnails along with alt information on retail side.

Thank you for responding. However, if you check my site www.discountautoac-compressorparts.com/ I and Bing cannot view ALT tags.

Seems you have missed to provide 'Alt Text' to child categories. For me, this can only happen if I don't provide alt text to child categories.
