routing to extensionless URLs

Before I spend a lot of time on this, I want to find out if this is possible. I'd like to have extensionless URLs rather than ones that end with aspx.

So something like http://www.mysite.com/gold-widgets

I suspect this is doable but I don't see any mention of it particularly. And I'm using Gold R10.

Hello Mike,

To make that type of change, in the admin interface, go to Configure -> SEO -> Settings.

On the right is the section where you can allow urls without extensions ( if your server allows it ).

Easy in principle but it's not working for me - yet! I have a dedicated server and full control of the box (server 2008) so I'm sure it's possible. Do you know what needs to be configured to allow that?

I'm not using GOLD but in the prior version you have to define the URL in the product configuration and then do as Ryan suggested and enable the appropriate SEO options.
