Are there any admin pages that update web.config?

Hi,

I am the only developer for our AbleCommerce GOLD instance [GoldR8 (build 7345)] and I have had to fix maybe twice in the last few months a problem that something is messing up the <forms element in our web.config.

I set the domain and path attributes to support SSO between AbleCommerce and our main website, but the settings are reverting and I do not know why.

I am wondering if there is some administrator action that can cause a web.config update that might alter the <forms element.

I don't think so if we have any code that could revert those settings. I wonder if web.config is updated through IIS? In IIS some changes reflect in web.config making appropriate configuration updates.
