Service Release 1 for Gold question

In the notes it says..

"Anonymous account with duplicate email may be disabled upon login. Issue ID AC8-2951 includes a new filter on the User Management page so merchants can easily find disabled anonymous accounts and remove them."

So I checked "include anonymous" and "show only disabled" and searched and came up with 1979 users. I assume I should remove all of these but I think clicking delete one at a time will take me awhile..


Another change was for "Sales over time widget on dashboard needs sales for current month" This was something I had asked about since there was no running total for the current month.
The past 6 month tab still shows 0 for the current month. You added a current month tab but it only shows the daily sales and not a running total.

Without being able to look at these users and see if they have ever ordered or when the account was created, it's hard to say. I would think that your anonymous user maintenance should be working though. How many days of anonymous user activity are you saving?

I'm not sure what you mean by running total. Maybe there is another report that you can use like "Sales over Time" to get the information you need.

I have it set to 5 days.. here is what it says when I check the database.

Anonymous User Count: 42581
Oldest Record: 5 days @ 2/9/2016 9:20:33 AM

The issue I have with all of this is some of the anonymous accounts have a E-mail in them and are disabled. This makes it so I end up with customers that cannot create a real account because it says their email is in use.


Here is the dashboard sales widget. As you can see on the "past 6 months " tab the current month is always 0. Past 7 days give me the past 7 days and current month gives me every day for the month but why can we not get a running total for the month. Yes I can go into the other reports to see this but for a quick easy glance it would make more sense to fix this.

If you install the patch, these users should be able to use the Lost Password form and/or Register if there is an account.

Alright.. I will see if we get any more customers complaining since the patch. I fixed the image that was not displaying in my last post.
