Has anybody gotten Google Tag Manager to work with AC?

I have. Easy to do, just load it in the layout file.

I dabbled with it a year ago and forget. Does it need to be in the Base.Master file? I think it would need to be put in the Layouts/Fixed/Base.Master file too, doesn't it? So that it can record transactions, it needs to be on the checkout and receipt pages.

Do you know if it will enable dynamic ads for Adwords and AdRoll?

I don't know about what it supports, I just know where I had to put it. Yes both in the base.master and the fixed base.master is where you put it.
