Unable to Add To Cart
Unable to Add To Cart
I am seeing a strange phenomenon when attempting to add items to cart.
When logged in (as store admin, haven't tried as regular user), I am able to add a single item to my cart. it appears in my mini-basket in the sidebar. When I attempt to add a second item to cart (either same or completely different), no items are added. That is, the mini-basket doesn't get updated, nor does the full cart.
If I am not logged in, the first item add does appear in the mini-basket. When I add a second item, it replaces the first item in the mini-basket. However, when I go to the Cart page (hoping to see both items), I am greeted with a 'Your cart is empty' message.
I have implemented the patches for bugs 8411 and 8278. The same action occurs both before and after deploying these patches.
Any suggestions for a remedy here?
Thanks in advance.

Some of the results depend on if a user is logged in/has a current basket or not also.

Re: Unable to Add To Cart
Thanks, Judy. I had read through that post and gave that solution a try. It didn't resolve the issue. Nor did I see the action where it causes duplicate cart addition if the mini-basket appears on the page. I'm hoping that since your creation of that post, AbleCommerce was able to identify the cause of this bug and determine a resolution that I didn't see in the patch list.
Re: Unable to Add To Cart
Still haven't heard anything from Able on this issue. Anyone else know why shoppers can't add more than 1 item to their cart?

Re: Unable to Add To Cart
Able does have a patch for this on the help site (if that is the same as your problem). It is in the buyproductdialog.ascx.cs.

Re: Unable to Add To Cart
Thanks again, Judy. I did deploy the new BuyProductDialog inside the ConLib folder. That doesn't seem to help.
